UNICEF Malaysia “Projek Rintis Healthy Central Kitchen”.

Shah Alam, 8th April 2026 – MOG Eyewear was grateful to be invited by UNICEF Malaysia to witness the start of the Children’s Education, Health and Nutrition programme starting at Taska Permata KEMAS JAIS, Shah Alam. As part of the 2025 fundraising effort, in which MOG proudly contributed RM100,000 to UNICEF Malaysia, this meaningful visit was a reminder that every act of giving can help shape a kinder, healthier future for children in Malaysia. Seeing the programme begin in person brought home how important it is to support children in ways that truly touch their daily lives.

At the heart of this initiative is Projek Rintis Healthy Central Kitchen, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health Malaysia and UNICEF Malaysia. The project aims to provide young children in nurseries and preschools with well-balanced meals prepared twice a day, five days a week, through a regulated central kitchen. More than just serving food, the programme is designed to improve children’s growth through awareness, engagement and education. The children are also taught about healthy foods and how good nutrition supports their development, helping them build better habits from an early age.

MOG was deeply thankful to share this journey with the children and teachers on that day, and to stand alongside UNICEF Malaysia in building a better future for every child. When children receive the right nutrients, they grow stronger, healthier and more ready to learn, with benefits that can also support their vision and overall well-being as they grow.
