“OOPPA – Gaya Raya “Spend & Win – Rewards from 5 Star Hotels!” (the “Promotion”) is organized and promoted by OOPPA Eyewear (the “Promoter” or “MOG”) and is subject to the following terms and conditions.
To participate in the Promotion, follow the instructions on this page and accept the following terms and conditions, which will form a binding agreement between you (the “Participant”) and Metro Optical Group Sdn Bhd.
The Promotion and How to Participate
1.1. By participating in the Promotion, you hereby accept these participation rules (referred to hereafter as “the Rules”). If you do not wish to accept these Rules, please do not enter.
1.2. The Participant must spend a minimum of RM500 on any prescription glasses or sunglasses at any OOPPA store.
1.3. The winner will be picked at random every week. The winner will be informed via WhatsApp or Email within 3 days of the Closing Date and must respond within 7 days to claim their prize.
1.4. To qualify for participation in the promotion, you must be over 18 years of age. If under 18 years of age, you must first obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Rules of Participation
2.1. This lucky draw starts at 12:00 (GMT+8) on March 1st, 2025 (the “Opening Date”), and will end at 10:00 (GMT+8) on April 30th, 2025 (the “Closing Date”).
2.2. Each Participant can only win a maximum of one prize for the lucky draw.
2.3. The Promoter is not responsible for entries to the promotion that cannot be processed due to any technical or operational reasons. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, incomplete, for any reason whatsoever, will not be eligible.
2.4. The Promotion details form part of these terms and conditions.
2.5. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
Prizes
3.1. There will be 4 winners in total. Prizes, including a Ramadan Buffet, a 2D1N Hotel Staycation, and an Evening Tea Set, will be selected randomly and announced weekly throughout the duration of this promotion.
3.2. In cases where a prize cannot be delivered due to causes originating with the winner (including but not limited to failure to provide more information for ease of prize arrangements within 7 days of the conclusion of the event or submission of incomplete or inaccurate contact information that prevents the organizer from establishing contact), the prize will automatically be considered waived. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any such outcome and will not reissue the prize in such cases. Upon receiving their prize, the winner will be expected to confirm completion of delivery by notifying the distributor directly, except where abnormal circumstances prevent this. OOPPA shall not be liable for any accidents or damages suffered by the winner relating to the use or receipt of prizes.
3.3. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash. If unforeseen circumstances prevent the distribution of a prize, the organizer reserves the right to issue an equivalent prize in its place. Replacement awards may not be exchanged for cash.
3.4. Prize recipients shall bear full responsibility for any personal income taxes incurred with their prizes. The Promoter shall bear full responsibility for any domestic or international shipping charges incurred by the delivery of the prize.
3.5. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed, or lost in transit.
Waiver of Liability
4.1. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments, or complaints about this promotion must be directed to careline@mog.com.my.
Changes to the Rules
5.1. OOPPA reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the above terms and conditions in keeping with standard practices for similar events and transfer of public gallery rights. Please refer to these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of and understand any changes made by OOPPA. By continuing to use this site, you accept these terms and conditions as legally binding regardless of any changes occurring herein.
Privacy and Personal Information Policy
6.1. Personal information collected from each winner will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of delivering their prize. The Promoter will not sell, share, or otherwise disclose the personal information of winners with third parties, other than to third parties engaged by the Promoter to fulfill the above purposes.
