MOG Continues Strengthen Community Impact with CSR School Eye Screening Programme 2025

Empowering Young Vision & Supporting B40 Students with Free Eyewear

Kuala Lumpur, 8th December 2025 — MOG reaffirmed its commitment to community well-being in 2025 through an impactful CSR School Eye Screening initiative designed to safeguard children’s vision and support their educational growth. Throughout the year, the programme successfully reached 6 schools, offering comprehensive eye health screenings to thousands of students from diverse backgrounds. The participating schools included:

The initiative focused on early detection of vision issues such as myopia, astigmatism, and other refractive errors, conditions that can significantly affect a child’s learning ability, classroom performance, and confidence if left unaddressed. By bringing professional eye care directly to schools, MOG ensured that students received convenient, accessible, and reliable screenings within their familiar learning environment.

A core highlight of the programme was MOG’s strong emphasis on supporting underserved communities. Students identified from B40 families who required vision correction were provided fully sponsored prescription eyewear, ensuring no child is left behind due to financial constraints. This contribution aims to help students see clearly, learn better, and participate more confidently in academic and co-curricular activities.
